Ring Guide

How to Care for Your Ring

The first thing to know is that even though gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals may be among the hardest substances in the world, it does not mean they are immune to wear and tear. Harsh household chemicals, scratchy surfaces, and strong blows can all make your rings a little bit worse for wear. It is important to make sure your rings are kept in peak condition by careful maintenance. If your rings look a little dirty, only wash with a soft cloth and gentle soap.

Choosing the Right Size

Use a ring sizer to determine the size of the finger you intend to wear the ring on. If you get the ring size correct before purchasing, it'll save you additional resizing expense later down the line. Particularly if you choose a ring with specific diamond and gemstone settings, sometimes resizing can be incredibly costly or totally impossible. If you need help with ring sizing, don't hesitate to ask one of our gemologists for help.
